All The News That’s Fit to Dish…

Hey, everyone! This seems to be a very… eventful, and sometimes bad, year for the present and former stars of Desperate Housewives. Entertainment Tonight posted a story on their website saying that Jesse Metcalfe, who played John on the show, fell off a balcony Sunday during a party. Fortunately, he’s fine and just received some minor bruises. Be careful out there, guys…

In better Housewives news, the ratings are still going strong. The latest episode has received 15.7 million viewers and was, once again, tops in its timeslot. That’s not all… they have also gained ground in each of the most important demographics to advertisers, which is usually even more important. Even a relatively low-rated show can survive as long as it is popular with the right target groups. Will the streak continue? We’ll have to wait and see.

While most of the reviews of the new season have been really good, there are some that don’t agree with at least one element: the new ladies. TV Guide jeered the use of Gail O’Grady, Fances Conroy and Lily Tomlin recently, saying the ladies are put into roles that are not good enough for them. I personally disagree. Especially with them saying Tomlin looks silly in the outfits she’s in for her part. I say it’s perfect and she makes it seem totally natural. What do you all think?
