And the Nominees Should Be…
Hey, everyone!!! Like I was saying before…. awards season is upon us and some of the magazines are already making their cases for different shows. I was just browsing the internet today and came across an article from Variety’s website where they dissect the returning shows and new ones that are being considered for nominations.
All the usual suspects are included here. You’ve got Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother and Ugly Betty, among others. Of course, Desperate Housewives is also on the list and they have a lot of good things to say about the show and it’s future. They even singled out one of my favorites (Eva) as a strength of the show. Even when they talk about the weakness of the show, it ends up with a positive. I totally agree with everything the writer has to say, except I do have a few concerns about how long the quality of the show can keep going. That’s always a danger when a show is entering year 6 and has several more to go. They seem to think it’s all good, based on the success of season 5’s jump. I hope they’re right on that one! I’m definitely curious to see what Marc has in store next.
