Another Sneak Peak…

I found this great preview on youtube of the scene they used in the sneak peak I mentioned Friday. This one is a full scene of Edie and the ladies. Beware, those of you who wanna wait until the premiere…. it’s a little spoilery about Edie, as are my comments about it. If you like spoilers, though…. carry on:

So, I’m a little bit in shock after watching that. What on earth happened to Edie? Apologizing for a thoughtless comment? She cooks? I don’t know who this new guy of hers is, but he sure seems to have had a really great influence on her. She sure didn’t change like that thanks to the ladies smack down on her, since she didn’t hesitate to make some nasty comments in the first place. I think this is gonna be really interesting. In fact, I think Edie’s storyline just got bumped up towards the top for me.

Edie has never struck me as the type to get all deferential to a guy. After all, this is the same girl who purposefully bought herself an engagement ring and then wore it to a party against Carlos’ wishes. Not to mention her competing with Susan over being in that show with Julie while she was with Karl.

I’m gonna love seeing how Edie got to this point over the past few years and what effect this guy is going to have over her long term. I just hope she’s not going to change too drastically. I want her to maintain some of that sassy nature of hers and let’s face it: the ladies could definitely use a little bit of a reality check once in a while. I think Edie is the one to give it.
