Asking the Tough Questions
Good morning, everyone!! Ready for the weekend? I know I am! In the meantime, I have something cute to share with y’all. It’s another edition of ‘Ask Desperate Housewives’. This time, it’s with Marc and Doug Savant. After the video, I’ll post my thoughts, recap for anyone who can’t watch. Thanks goes to Desperatevideos:
This week, Marc was a bit more subdued than he was when appearing with the actor who plays Lee. It starts off a great foot when Marc has to re-do the intro because Doug cleared his throat at the wrong moment. Fans questions revealed that Doug’s acting and chemistry with Felicity are what got him a full-time gig on the show, since Tom was meant to be more a guest character.
They also revealed that Doug is actually a musician, which I thought was pretty cool. He comes from a musical family and gave them a list of stuff he could pretend to play, but they chose one he can’t, so he had a lot to learn for Tom’s garage band. We also find out that he was once a stay-at-home dad as well.
Marc tells the fans that he knows exactly what the last scene on the series is going to be. He wouldn’t give many details, though. He wants that to be a big surprise. They also talk about how the infamous ‘Rex cries’ line has been used by an exec fighting censors so much the censors told the person to quit quoting that line back to em.
