TV Watch…
Thursday, January 1st, 2009Good morning and Happy 2009 Today, I wanna fill you in on when some of our favorites will be on TV in the next week or so. Let’s start with the people who were/are regulars.
Nicollette Sheridan- You can see her in Code Name: The Cleaner on HBOe on January 2nd at 10 AM. She’ll also be in Spy Hard, airing January 5th on AMC. That’s at 4:45 am, so you better program those VCRs/DVRs….
Mark Moses- You can see him in the movie Monster-in-Law on TNT. You have two chances to see that one in the next week, January 3rd at 8 PM and 4th at 4:30 PM. He’ll also be in a rerun of 7th Heaven on January 5th at 7 PM. That airs on WGN.
Brenda Strong- You can check her out in The Craft on HBOe. They’re playing it at 4:25 AM on the 3rd and 3:30 PM on the 5th. You can also see her in Encore’s showings of Spaceballs. Those are scheduled for January 5th at 8 Pm and January 6th at 3:10 AM.
Now, let’s talk about some of the recurring people. There are several of them appearing in shows and movies soon. First off… Roger Bart, our very own George the Pharmacist. If you have the east coast versions of Showtime, you’ll be able to see him in the movie Hostel Part 2. SHOe has it airing January 3 (10 PM), 6 (10 PM) and 11 (10 PM). SHO2e will air it air it on the 4th (11:30 PM) and the 9th (11 PM). You can also see him on MOMAXe’s airing of The Producers on January 4th at 7:45 PM.
Dixie Carter, aka: the mother-in-law of Bree’s nightmares, is going to be in the Hallmark Channel’s airing of Our First Christmas on January 2nd at 1 AM. You can also see her guesting on a USA repeat or Law and Order: Special Victims Unit at 4 PM on the 4th or Lifetime’s rerun of Desperate Housewives January 9 at 12 PM.
Well, that’s all for now. Take care and I’ll see you all again tomorrow!

How’s this for a random paring? That’s Elizabeth Berkley (yes, the chick from Saved by the Bell and Showgirls) chatting with Marcia during the Feed 100 reception at Whole Foods in LA. That took place just a few days ago, on May 19th.

Our girls didn’t bring home any awards last night, but it didn’t prevent them from looking (mostly) fabulous in the process. Take Teri Hatcher for example. She looked absolutely stunning in her dress. Following the “white trend” from the Golden Globes, she went big-time glam and Old Hollywood and looked fantastic doing it.
Felicity Huffman, on the other hand, didn’t look as fabulous as I know she can. She almost looked, dare I say it, a little frumpy in her knee-length black dress. I just don’t think it was that great a style on her.
Eva Longoria, also, didn’t look that great in her dark grey gown. A very pretty dress, it might have looked better on someone a little taller as the folds of fabric just seemed to envelope poor Eva and make her look even shorter.
Brenda Strong was there and she looked really great in the same color. I did find there was something distracting about the neckline on her dress. It didn’t seem to match too well with the rest of the dress. But she’s a tall lady and was able to pull off the “pillar” look very well, overall.
Nicollette Sheridan was also there and looked about as you’d expect her to: Amazing. Michael Bolton must be a proud man. She also chose a lighter color, like Teri, but hers was more neutral in color. The neckline almost reminded me of something you’d find in the lingerie department. Combined with her sultry hairstyle, she looked very sexy.
Lastly, we have Andrea Bowen, who plays Teri Hatcher’s daughter Julie on the show. Wow, she’s growing up, isn’t she? She chose a coppery gown that complimented her skin and hair so nicely. She looked pretty fantastic as well, I thought. I almost didn’t recognize her when I first saw her.
