Felicity On The View….
Good morning, everyone!! Now that we’re a couple of episodes in, Felicity Huffman joined the ladies of the View for a chat yesterday. I think I may have tuned in after it had started. What I saw was her talking a little bit about the new season and the mid-life crisis Tom is on the verge of. There wasn’t a whole lot given away about the show, so that was pretty good.
Mainly, as seems to be the case on the View, she talked about herself and stuff she’s doing personally. They showed an absolutely adorable picture of Felicity with a dog her family had adopted that looked like a Black Lab, but she described as a mutt. She’s actually involved with this great project that is sponsered by Iams. It’s called Home For the Holidays. Basically, their goal is to get 1 million dogs and cats placed in good homes during the October-January holiday season. If you’re interested in finding out more and maybe adding to your family, check here. I think this is one of my favorite causes the ladies of Wysteria Lane have been involved in.
During her visit, they also talked about her kids. Basically, She’s dreading the day they become teenagers and she’s dealing with the misery Lynette faces each day (the kids are currently both under 10). Whoopie started messing with her a bit, telling her that from the age of about 12 until they hit around 20, Felicity will never be right and constantly ignored. Overall, Felicity came off pretty good in it and looked great. And she, thankfully, didn’t share any scary stories along the lines of the Madonna underwear thing she talked about in More Magazine. Keep it up, girl! If you wanna see a more complete recap of the appearance (and the whole show in general), I point you to my fellow blogger Winnie McCarthy’s post on it.
Finally… as promised, here is a little more detail on the scene with Karl… Susan comes home from a talk with Mike to find Karl and Jackson chatting it up. she walks him out, asking him what he’s doing here… apparently, he had to come sign some papers for Julie. He then teases her about dating a plumber and a painter, adding “just think, If I’d been a roofer, we might still be together.” As an added bonus, check out this scene, where Mike and Jackson first run into eachother:
Well, that’s about it for now. Take care and I’ll see y’all next time with some great quotes and other stuff.
