Where are the Housewives??
First of all, welcome to “Watching Desperate Housewives”. My name is Marilyn and I’ll be your blogger. 
You may recognize me from the “Watching Reality TV” blog here on 451Press. I also watch virtually any show that ABC has to offer right now, including Desperate Housewives. You’ll be able to find all the juicy news and gossip here. I’ll also be giving my own spin on episode recaps, in case you missed an episode!
But first things first: where are the Housewives? You may have noticed we’re seeing some repeats. A lot of shows are on Christmas hiatus right now. Which basically boils down to the show being on “break” until after the holidays. We’ll get another new episode on January 7th (which is still WEEKS before we’ll get a new Lost episode, but I digress). Bummer right?
The good news is, this is an excellent opportunity to get caught up on the goings-on on Wisteria Lane. If you go to the ABC website, you’ll find you can watch recent episodes for free! Or you can download episodes on iTunes to watch on your iPod OR you can even go all out and buy seasons 1 and 2 on dvd to watch whenever you want (and maybe to give to a lucky friend for Christmas!). Even better, you can come back here where I’ll be delving into the sordid history of Wisteria Lane each week until the show returns.
