Desperate Housewives

So, I’m sure by now all of you know about the new face on Wysteria Lane, Dr. Cominis. He’s the surgeon that fixed Orson’s snoring problem, leading to one of the funniest scenes all year. Ya know, the one where Bree informs the doctor that she doesn’t care if Orson’s apprehensive about the procedure because he owes her big. The look on his face was priceless.

He’s also got another role on the show: Andrew’s new man (another classic moment, by the way). According to the article he has shot four episodes of the show right now. Here’s hoping he’s got many more to come because he’s great. So far, he’s appeared in two. Because of his new notoriety, his hometown paper, The Daily News, did an interview with him. You can see the full article and all his comments about the cast and the show here. In the meantime, let me fill you in on a couple parts of the interview that stuck out to me.

One is people’s reaction to his part on the show. Apparently, he’s getting a lot of people joking with him that they saw his video (if you remember, his character once starred in an adult film). He has a great sense of humor about it, though, laughing along with the people. Also, he revealed that the scene where he and Andrew announce they’re engaged was filmed the day after Proposition 8 was voted through, which I thought was kind of ironic.
