Joy Lauren preparing for “birth”
If you may recall, Bree’s daughter Danielle is pregnant on “Desperate Housewives” and Bree is masquerading as the pregnant one. Remember that? It was a big deal in the finale (all those many months ago!). So there is a birth in the future for actress Joy Lauren who plays Danielle on the show. The 17 year old actress has never seen an actual birth or even been in the presence of one. All she has to go on is what she’s seen on television and in movies.
“I was thinking of going on YouTube or something, but I’m afraid of what I’ll find,â€? Lauren, 17, told us at last night’s TMG International Style LA fashion show at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. “I’ve never been to a birth or seen one, so all I have to go on is movies and stuff like that. A friend of mine offered to take me to Lamaze class, and I was like, ‘No!’ â€?
Best of luck to her! I think it’s awfully difficult to mimic labor and delivery unless you’ve actually been through it or at least been in it’s presence and it’s nice to hear that she’s actually trying her best to prepare for the “big moment”.
