Kyle’s New Project…

Ah, the 90s…. What TV fan can forget them? There were so many cool (yet gone too soon) TV shows out there and others that became long-running classics. One of the shows that fell into the ‘gone too soon’ category is Twin Peaks. It featured Kyle Maclachan as a detective investigating the murder of local teenager Laura Palmer.

The show only lasted two seasons on ABC, and one of them was pretty short. There was also a TV movie based on the show. Still it gained a big cult following and still remains popular with people to this day. People nostalgic for the series can now see it occasionally on the channel Chiller. So, why am I talking about Twin Peaks right now? Easy. It seems that fans aren’t the only ones nostalgic for the good old days. Detective Cooper himself, Kyle, is reportedly looking into bringing the series back as a series of webisodes. Sorry fans…. Kyle doesn’t think creator David Lynch will be involved should he get this idea of his off the ground. He was quoted as saying that David has his own thing going on right now involved meditation.

So, for the fans out there, what do you guys think about this? Can Twin Peaks come back in this form or do you think it’s best to just enjoy the old episodes?
