Ratings and Previews…
Good morning, everyone!! There’s some pretty good news on Wysteria lane… apparently, the premiere scored over 18 million viewers, slightly down from last year, but doing a little better than the finale, which is a good sign post-strike. Will episode 2 stack up? We’ll have to wait and see when the numbers are released.
ABC must be really happy too. Thanks to Housewives, Dancing With the Stars and Grey’s Anatomy, they were the number 1 network this week with over 12 million viewers tuning in a night on average. I’m liking where this is going. If it keeps up, Housewives will definitely continue to be a priority this year. I have high hopes for the show, as I’ve already seen many fan and former fan comments across the net saying that this premiere has made them interested in the show again.
If you just can’t wait to get a taste of episode two, you’ve got your chance! Here’s a preview scene from the episode. It features Bree, Orson and Andrew looking over a finished copy of Bree’s cook book. I’ll add a few comments below. If you don’t wanna know anything, go no further!
I can see why Bree is being a little defensive here. I think that Van De Kamp sounds better, too. And if she started the company when things were iffy, name recognition is key. Still, based on her tone and a few other previews out there (and her scenes from last week), I think Bree might be in danger of letting her new-found fame go to her head. Hopefully, she won’t go too far. Well, I guess that’s all for now. Take care and see y’all next time.

You forgot Jackson! Loved the karaoke (Kyle singing “Break on Through!” Nice shout-out to his old movie. And love the Ramones song!)
Jackson and Susan are lovely together. And I hear that Jackson and Mike become buddies, which is an interesting twist.
