Ratings Dish

by

Good morning, everyone! I’ll get to some quotes and all later, but I thought I’d talk ratings today. It’s very good news, by the way… even if it didn’t get the same numbers other “event” episodes did in the past.

In all, “City on Fire” managed to get over 16 millions viewer Sunday night, beating shows like Amazing Race and Cold Case by several million viewers. Not too shabby, huh? They also beat Family Guy and American Dad on FOX by an even greater number and managed to win that all-important 18-49 demographic. Let’s put this in to some more perspective for you. According to a ratings report released the other day, this Sunday’s episode got the shows best ratings since January of this year and managed to match it’s results for last season’s finale. Congrats to everyone involved in the show. Despite a few issues here and there, they’re doing an excellent job this season. Makes me actually look forward to the next two years instead of wondering how bad the decline will be like some other shows I used to like.

Speaking of- since it looks like we have a repeat in store (The American Music Awards in on next week), let’s take this time to have a little bit of a poll, huh? So far, we’ve had eight episodes and a whole lot going on with each character. What has been your favorite of the season so far? What character’s story is living up to your expectations? On the other side of things…. what’s your least favorite? What character’s story is leaving you with the desire to yawn? Comment and let me know!! See y’all next time. I leave you now with a look at the promo for the next new episode… enjoy!

I am really enjoying Gabby’s story. I have always wanted to know what kind of mom she would make. On the other hand, Susan’s story is the same as it always is… boyfriend problems, I was hoping her and Mike could stay together…

I love Gaby’s story this season the most. I keep hoping for the best with her and carlos and his sight and their money problems! I like Lynette’s also but it seems awfully familiar, just reversed. Then Bree’s is ok…But Susan’s is the absolute worst! I can’t believe they did it again! No Mike and boyfriend woes. God it is tiring.
